Backwoods Cinnamon Harvest

We chose to photograph cinnamon harvesting in a remote area near Mau A, Yen Bai. A far removed area was important to capture the local Mong people harvesting cinnamon in its true raw form, without any modern distractions. In these images, we were able to coordinate the shoot with the felling of a huge 40 years-old cassia tree.
